Who Called Me from a +65 Number?
A practical checklist for deciding whether a missed call from a Singapore number is worth returning.
Last updated: 4 July 2026
Start by checking whether the number matches a normal Singapore pattern. If it does, look for reports from other people who received the same call. Repeated mentions of silent calls, pressure tactics, or odd callback requests are warning signs.
Legitimate business calls often leave a voicemail, send a follow-up message, or identify the company clearly when you answer. Scam calls often try to create urgency before you have time to verify who they are.
If you are unsure, do not share OTPs, banking details, Singpass credentials, or NRIC information. Verify the organization through its official website or hotline first.
